The UltraFire 1kg powder fire extinguisher is suitable for use on most fire types, including Class A, B, and C fires and on fires involving electrical equipment. It can be stored externally as they are less likely to freeze in comparison to water-based extinguishers. Ideal for workshops and garages, this 1kg powder extinguisher can also be used for tackling small fires in cars or vans.

Please note: The use of powder fire extinguishers indoors is not recommended by BS 5306-8: 2012 due to the mess powder creates and the potential impairment of vision and respiration it can cause. In many indoor environments, water mist fire extinguishers are a suitable alternative and are ideal for tackling most common types of fire.
